School is not as interesting and simple as I thought. The competitiveness is comparable to NP's, and I didn't realised it until that Monday when our local lecturer is telling us how much he expects from us, abt how strict is their marking of assignments, abt how we could fail our modules if we fail by only one mark in our exam papers. Also, I see how other people show their work to the lecturer when the deadline is 1 mth later. (
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)Oh well, definitely that is how others handle their time and work. And most of them are actually foreign students, and I can see how much effort they put in as a foreign student. Seriously, I do not have as much foreign students as classmates before. My friends and I were actually guessing what country does this girl comes from, etc.. hahaha.
I went to the library many times for the past 2 weeks. You know I hadn't borrowed books from NP lib before when I was a student there, but I borrowed some after I grad. How funny. But the books there are really really good and many. haha. Cos Stephie and I went to other libs and we had a hard time looking for them, including SIM Lib. We reckon that other students had borrowed them. Not studying for half a year is definitely different. Even doing a simple tutorial with 2/3 qns can take me half an hr. I guess I hasn't been using my brain much for the past months. ('data-entrying' too much) So the first individual assignment would be a struggle for me too.
Hmm, I made a couple of new friends for the past one month. It is really getting more and more difficult as I get older. Perhaps because there's no orientation also la. Not like local unis, they have those FOC, blahh blahh camps, like what my bro is undergoing now. I do miss NP, I mean my friends there, really. I can't imagine how I spend my 3 years in poly w/o TB10. I really thank God for the friends there.
I MISS YOU PEOPLE!!!! ohya, I also miss the NS guys. Sherman, Vincent and Ronnie! and ohya, my sec school friend benji, he says that he Vincent is in his company. Its only when he saw my blog then he knows that he is Vincent and he's my friend. Small Singapore, small country.
Okay, before I end, HAPPY OLYMPICS!
and HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!
